At FP Counselling, we tailor our approach to you.
We understand that, at times, life can be challenging and difficult to manage. In these moments, it can be helpful to seek support from others to help discover healthy and adaptive ways of coping.
We believe in building strong relationships with clients founded on trust, empathy and mutual respect so that individuals feel understood, and are encouraged to create positive change in their lives.
We provide individual counselling in a number of different areas, including abuse, depression, guilt/shame, life transitions, self-care, self-esteem, and suicide. We also provide couples counselling and have completed training from the Gottman Institute, taking a research-based approach to creating stronger relationships.
We adopt an eclectic approach to counselling, which is wholly dependent on individuals' needs. We also recognize the importance of finding a counsellor who is a good fit and, therefore, offer a free 20-minute phone consultation.
